Nana Bread

  • 100g softened butter
  • 120g caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 225g plain flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 50ml milk
  • Chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 18oC/160C fan. Grease and line a loaf tin.

In a large bowl, mix together the butter, sugar and egg, then slowly mix in flour and baking powder. Peel and mash the bananas. Then mix everything together, including the nuts.

Pour into the tin and bake for 1 hour 10 minutes. Allow to cool before removing.
