Toddler Dough for cookie-cutter biscuits

Toddler Dough for cookie-cutter biscuits

The famous Steiner kindergarten recipe. We made these sooo many times when you were little. I remember one time you made it into all the letters to spell your name.

  • 3 oz self-raising flour
  • 9 oz plain flour
  • 5 oz sugar
  • 5 oz butter or margarine
  • 1 egg
  • a few drops of vanilla essence
  • Decorations (optional)

Mix it all together to make a stiff dough. Roll and cut out biscuits. Decorate if you want to. Thick ones will be soft, thinner ones crispy.

Bake at 180 for about 8 mins. This is a guess – I can’t remember, but must be about right!

They are surprisingly yummy and keep well.
