Jess’ creamy mushroom gnocchi

Jess makes this for me all the time and it’s one of my favourites!


  • Gnocchi (homemade is even better but usually buy the fresh ones from supermarket)
  • Mushrooms
  • Shallot
  • Garlic (a lot)
  • Parsley
  • Creme fraiche
  • White wine


  1. Cook shallot until soft, then add garlic and continue cooking for a few minutes before adding mushrooms.
  2. Cook mushrooms until most of the water has evaporated, then deglaze pan using splash of white wine.
  3. Stir in a spoonful of creme fraiche, and add parsley. Cook for another minute or so.
  4. Boil gnocchi until they rise to the top of the pan.
  5. Combine gnocchi with sauce and top with garlic salt, black pepper and parmesan. Enjoy!
