Boozy stewed fruit with bay leaves

Bex made this for me, and I didn’t get the recipe in detail (too much wine) but it was really good.

In essence it was fruit gently cooked in the oven with some honey and alcohol (I think brandy) and bay leaves. Fruit was plums, nectarines, red fruits that sort of thing. Don’t know how many bay leaves, but that’s the secret ingredient so I guess lots… Ask her for the recipe sometime. Good with a little creme fraiche.
